We are overjoyed to introduce the Supported Housing Program to the community. The Supported Housing program is a federal grant program authorized to assist the homeless population in regaining (or gaining for the first time) permanent residency. It is designed, as a part of the Continuum of Care strategy, to promote the development of ongoing housing opportunities.

The program also creates support services necessary in the transition from streets and shelters to permanent housing, and in maximizing the individual's self-sufficiency.

The support services are designed to assist the individuals in attaining skills necessary to build up, expand, sustain and preserve positive, productive community involvement. Some of the support services which will be made available are: illness awareness, coping skills, personal responsibility, conflict resolution, relationship issues, employability, communication, recovery, self-esteem, problem solving, nutrition, relapse prevention and social skills. Clients will also be guided in managing their money and time, as well as dealing with stress and anger.
