Prepare and serve a meal at the shelter. We can give you detailed information on what is involved in doing this.

Collect and donate personal hygiene products, sheet, towels, paper products and laundry detergent. (See Wish List Page)

Mention our need for volunteers in your bulletin, newsletter or on the bulletin board where you work. We can supply posters for you to use.

Give us the opportunity to speak at your club and organization meetings. We will explain our needs and work. We will educate your members about homelessness in Springfield and in general.

We shelter homeless men and women in Springfield every night, year round. Helping Hands needs volunteers to staff the shelter - in two and four hour shifts - evenings and weekends.
